Hope. Healing. Help.

About Us

What We Do:

Sought Out primarily serves four groups:

  1. Individuals struggling with sexual and relational issues, such as an addiction to pornography, sexual addiction, unwanted same-sex attraction, and/or love/romance addiction.
  2. All of those who are in relationship with the individuals above, such as spouses, parents, and adult children.
  3. Individuals who have been traumatized by others, such as those who have survived abuse or rape.
  4. Individuals who have been hurt in their religious experiences and in their relationship with God.

Individuals benefiting from our services often fit into more than one of these groups at the same time.

How We Do It:

Sought Out has a number of resources available to the meet the needs of almost every person affected by these issues. We provide one-on-one care for individuals. We offer small focus-groups and support groups specifically designed for individuals affected by these issues. We also lead specialized programs serving to educate, foster growth, and support the healing process.

Additionally, we provide numerous training events and programs for pastoral staffs, enabling church leaders to serve their people well.

Who We Are:

Sought Out is staffed by trained professionals from diverse backgrounds. Most hold advanced degrees in their area(s) of expertise. We also depend upon our faithful, irreplaceable volunteers, most of whom have walked the road of healing themselves. See our staff page for more details.
