A Christ-centered healing, teaching, and discipleship series, Living Waters addresses the reality that we are all broken in our ability to love others well.
The goal of Living Waters is to lay a foundation for relational wholeness and redemption.
Facing the Shadow, by Dr. Patrick Carnes, is the first program to take Carnes' techniques used by thousands of people recovering from sexual addiction and show, step by step, how to break free of this disease and live a healthier, more fulfilling life. This program sets the stage for the recovery tasks at hand, and then provides practical, easy-to-follow exercises specifically designed to help understand and address them.
You'll learn:
• Why denial is so powerful and what can be done to break through it.
• How to face the consequences of your behaviors using recovery principles.
• How to respond to change and crisis due to addiction.
• How to manage life without dysfunctional behavior.
• How spirituality affects recovery.
• What to disclose and to whom.
• How does sex addiction start and what does an addict need to know.

¨ Accepting One's Self

The Journey is a community of women who have all experienced betrayal and loss as a result of their spouses’ struggle with life-dominating sexual sin. As a group, Journey meets weekly to give women an opportunity to grieve with others who identify with their pain, to begin breaking free from harmful and distorted patterns of thinking, to learn how to set boundaries that guard their hearts, thoughts, and behaviors, and to allow God to use authentic relationships to heal and transform them from the inside out.
Women on the journey together work through a core curriculum that addresses relevant issues and helps them reconnect with God in a time of daily devotion. They also experience the healing power of spiritual community as they deal with real-life hurts, struggles, and sins.
